early this morning around 1 or 2 am i put up a thread asking the question, if Wolfgang Vh is as good as a bass player as his dad says? 1. would ebmm offer to produce a wolfgang signature bass for him? 2. would the ego of his father let it happen? Hey, if i said something wrong and it was removed at least let me know why. That way i'll know what i said that was wrong.

Hi mate,

well any EVH topic is being either closed or deleted nowadays. Eddie is no longer an endorsee and Sterling Ball don't like to discuss VH topics on his forum, that's all,

stick around,

Philip

ok well i guess i can understand that a little bit. i guess were eddie is concerned he does very often leave a bad taste in peoples mouths! although it wasnt really a question about ed it was about wolfgang, and how that situation would work out if it ever came up.

It has been said many times before and yet this topic keeps coming up. I understand that newbies might not know, but you guys that have been here a while know better.

Brent, if you re read Adams post he says he DOES understand.

yes im sorry!! lol i understand the issue. I guess i just thought that because i seen people on here still talking about the evh guitars, that it was still cool to talk about the man. one question though. If luke, or lee, jp or whoever decides that they wanted to walk away from ebmm endoresments would they also be a banned topic, even though they have made ebmm alot of money by endorsing them?? please let me know if im way off base here. Man, i feel like gonna get a knock on my door and get a boot to the grill for even asking that. lol

its not your fault dude...dont worry, the EBMM EVH guitar is what brought a lot of people to this site, that is why there is a lot of confusion on this topic...you are not off base, it is a valid question

brent if it was the first time asked or discussed then you have a valid point. There are goroundrules expecially when its been way over a decade since eb and evh were doing business.

The other reason why EVH threads is that even if we dont say something they turn to crap......

Its really simple if you want to talk about van halen and his family there are some great forums out there just not here. Posting picutres of competitive products is really not the brightest thing to do either

thanks i most definatly will. their must be something really special about ebmm guitars! seems like every guitar store i go into they have the mm basses but they never seem to stock the guitars. Ive been in store that stock the olp's and have played one but i suspect that the ebmm's are of alot better quality! i would hope! lol Is there a reason why alot of stores dont stock the eb's? I mean damn, im sick of walking into the local shop and seeing 200 strats and another 100 leslies! Damn im sick of looking at strats. specially the signature strats. they have to be the biggest rip offs of all time. Clapton, mayer, beck... put anyones name on it you like but in the end its still a freakin strat. lol. thats something i like about ebmm,s sig guitars they are all different from one another! amen?

My conjecture is that EBMMs that end up in most stores get bought. Then, it takes a long time to replace them. At least, I hope that's the case. It could just be that people where you are want to buy other stuff. So, that's what gets stocked. Around here it's F3nd3r, Gi&$on, or PRS. Hardly any EBMMs. It's annoying as hell.

You ain't kidding bro. Talk about overpriced. And those "relic" guitars for $3000+. Man, don't get me started.
