Dear EBMM,

Please could I have a guitar the same shape as a SUB, but with a figured quilt maple top and no binding in a Trans honey finish with no scratchplate and a regular 2 point pivot trem as well as a fixed bridge option.

A SUB guitar neck on it would be fine, even finished in the satin black to really contrast with the body.

I know it doesn't really fit in with the SUB ethos, but I reckon it would look and sound very nice.

Anyone else want one? :D

As for me, Koogs I defintely want to peep a SUB if it plays well...I'd be down to pick it up. Hehehe. It's make a great 'C' tuned guitar.

I've been lucky enough to try 3 or 4 SUBs and the quality of them is amazing, not amazing for the price, just plain amazing!

My only issues is with the cinnamon finish. It feels really rough to bare arms, like sandpaper, which is a shame as it's my favourite finish.

Unless this gets sorted, I'll have to go for a different colour. :(

No calling me a wuss for not being man enough to play a guitar with a rough finish please !

Are the SUBs all like that rough finish? Kinda weird. Maybe some dust in the finish?!? Maybe it is real cinnamon to add flavor..;)

Hehe!

They all have a textured finish, but the cinnamon was noticeably rougher than the rest.

I doubt it was dust as it was more like sandpaper than wood dust.

The Cinnamon finish Sub 1 from Namm was a little rough to the touch. For production we expect the feel to be similar to the other colors.
Which is a lot smoother.

Thanks

I really do not know why it was so rough. I will ask our R&D team on Tuesday and report back.
