Sapphireskiss said:It seems it can be hit or miss. When mine arrived, I got the guitar, the trem bar, a polishing cloth, a function diagram for the pickups and controls and the warranty card. I know some ship with a couple of allen wrenches and a extra spring for the trem.
MikeVt said:Nope - there shouldn't be any tools or instructions. The basic setup instructions can be found on the FAQ from the EB main webpage. As far as tools, you can adjust the truss rod by inserting a 3mm allen wrench in the truss rod wheel. Other tools you might need are a 4mm allen for the bridge posts, 1.5mm allen for the bridge saddles and trem arm tightness, and a phillips screwdriver for the intonation screws and back panels.
In the case (others please correct me if I am wrong), you should have gotten a set of trem springs, a silica pack, keys, a cloth, trem arm, and maybe an ad or two.

That's a funny post, now I'm not trying to be a goof here, but is this the first thing that jumped out at you when your PET arrived? I mean you get home, open up the case, and there before you is a fully loaded EBMM JP7 (SEVEN), and you post about missing tools...man did you atleast take it for a test driveMOLTOX said:I just received mine and to my demise there was no set of tools included with the guitar and no instruction manual on truss rod adjusting and intonation. Should there have been a set of tools included?![]()
koogie2k said:Well, when mine went back to get the neck replaced, Jon sent me a note saying he would hunt me down and make me listen to Barry Manilow records for hours while stuffing foam peanuts in my mouth till I died......but, I guess that's not a tool.....hehehhehehe.......just kiddin' about the note, but he did say he would kill me if I did that again!
