to me it doesnt look like the rumble fish is serious. it looks like its so much different from the bongo which he obviously enjoyed that its giving him constipation.

LARRY is definitely hip with the Bongo.....doesn't appear too pleased with the Fish.

Hey! I liked both of them. (Maybe I like the Bongo more.) As you can see, it was HOT in there. I wish you all could have been there. We had a great time and I saw and played basses that I've only seen pictures of in the past.

Where was this taken?

This was a little Bass Fiesta organized by some of the people over at the Talk Bass community. I'm not really involved in TB but someone realized that I live right down the street from the place and so I got some email about it.

I figured - why not?

It was good to hook up LIVE AND IN PERSON with Mr Mobay and a couple of other normal people.....there were lots of fancy furniture coffee table basses, which do absolutely nothing for me, but there were other basses, too.

Overall, it was too hot and too wanky, but it's not like I was really busy.
