What is quilt?

Hey guys! I'm just confused, what is the quilt on the guitars?

here's a photo of the BFR I saw on the net & wishing to have..

Quilt is a type of maple - the quilt refers to the figuring in the wood which often has the appearance of waves.

Tobacco burst is an awesome finish. You made a good choice! If they have one in stock, you should be able to get it quicker than that. If they don't have one in stock and had to order it recently, you're probably looking at 3-4 MONTHS as opposed to 3-4 weeks.

I'd call Beaver back and see what's going on.

Tobacco burst is an awesome finish. You made a good choice! If they have one in stock, you should be able to get it quicker than that. If they don't have one in stock and had to order it recently, you're probably looking at 3-4 MONTHS as opposed to 3-4 weeks.

I'd call Beaver back and see what's going on.

3-4 months? are you sure? bass central said it would just take only 3-4 weeks or 6 maybe...

You never know, they may have already had an order in for a model with those specs.

But, if there isn't one in stock and they are placing a new build order with EBMM... I would expect 3-4 months.

Definitely call and check.

Just ask around...I don't think you'll find anyone here that placed an order with the factory and received a 3-4 week turnaround time. I think there is some mis-communication somewhere. Like DrGonzo said...they may have already had a BFR with the specs you wanted on order...but you may want to clarify as suggested before.

I send also an email to Pete Dubaldo about the BFR Luke tobacco, if I make an order now, how long will it take?

He did send the billing and shipping information and we charged the $500
deposit yesterday. The guitar should be here in 3-4 weeks Max, OK?
