Well, it would have to be my brand new Classic SR4, coral red, maple board that arrived Friday! It finally gets me back into the Stingray game after selling my 100th Anniversary NAMM Edition in "as close to mint condition" as a bass that was only played a handful of times can get. I just could not dig the graphite sound. My "ultimate used to be one that I bought used in '85 that I think was really a late 70's model. It just RANG like a bell man. The biggest bass gear related mistake I ever made was letting that one go. Needed $ BAD.
