Hey fellas,
What kind of strings do you use on your EB's? Sterlings specifically. I would love to hear some sound samples.

I dont have any recorded sample of my current string of choice. Im using TI Jazz Flats on my SR5. Its a great match for me right now.

Tenor tuned TI Jazz Flats on my fretted Bongo, Sadowsky flats on my fretless Bongo.

Those roundwound people should be along at some point. :D

Chromes on my fretted Sterling - gives me the "thump" with a tighter feel for general rock & roll.

I have TI Jazz Flats ready for a Bongo fretless - mmwaaaaaahhhhhhh.... :p

I am usually a big flats guy (TI preferably), but I put a set of DR Sunbeams on my new used SR and its got just about the perfect tone for me. I have TI superalloys on my Fretless SR5, but I am not all that satisfied with them. When I get my fretless Bongo, I will probably go with TI Flats.

I was playing slinkies for a while, but I recently went back to DR hi beams. They just seem to last longer, and give me the sound I want. If I had another fretted Bongo I would put flats on one of them. I slap too much to only have flats.

I have the heaviest ernie ball slinkies i could find on my soundgear 405, but I won't be able to put some on a musicman bongo for another year or so. when i turn 18 and can finally work in a music store.
