Although i don't mind the super slinkys, i've always been flats type of player, so what type of flats do you use on your Bongo?

I've used all manner of flats on my Bongos--La Bella, Sadowsky, DR, Dean Markley, GHS, Rotosound, TI Jazz Flats, Chromes/EBs...

I always end up back with the Ernie Ball flats.

But, just because they work for me doesn't mean they will work for you. But, it's a good place to start for the cost/availability aspect.

I'm tempted to try flats on mine, but don't want to to sink the money into them if I don't like the result.

Group III flats are like $25. Best value flat out there

Not the 5 string set, i think they're $35. I know it's not a lot, but with 4 kids, if i don't like them, that's good money that could've been used elsewhere.
