I have a NAMM article from a 1986 Guitar World in which they talk about Ernie Ball showing TWO new Music Man guitars - neither guitar is named, but they mention a Strat-derived model with contoured horns, and an "angular" model with a unique body shape; unfortunately, they only picture the Silhouette prototype, but I think that Ernie Ball actually showed the "Axis" (Albert Lee) model prototype at the 1986 Summer NAMM. Albert received his trans-pink one (perhaps the very same guitar) while playing at a Christmas party for Sterling Ball that December...</div>
