What note makes your tremolo ring? Do you dampen it or live with it?

On my Luke it is B that gets the springs ringing.

Well, if it is the springs that ring... I dampen all my trems with a layer of foam plastic UNDER the springs.
What also occurred one time and another was rattling screws in the saddles. That was sorta odd cuz they should have been tightened, but oh well...
I took them out, rubbed them on a candle for a little wax coating and haven't had the problem again ever since...

Cheers

The foam behind the strings works wonders!

I have heard if the spring is ringing it need to be replaced.... I have a few that ring but still fell solid so I just went with the foam.

What kind of foam and where do you get it specifically?

I don't notice the sympathetic note sound when playing at gig volume. I only notice it playing unplugged.
