Just collected a new EBMM and, compared to F***** there was very little in the case in the way of candy.

No allen keys, owners manual or the usual stuff, just a polishing cloth, a card with the warranty details, case key and a bag of dessicant. Is this the standard set?

Trying to remember...

Mine had a cloth (long gone now), warranty card and some allen keys.
Don't think mine came with a key though... haha I can't even remember if the case gives me the option. I would have to look.

I had warranty card, key for the case, polishing cloth.
There is no allan key supplied as you do not need one for truss rod adjustment.

I think that's about all ya need?

Yep...that would be about it. My question...did you get a guitar with it?!?!? ;)

My case came with the best heavy rock/metal guitar I've ever played. You can see it directly to the left of the post.

I think Fender puts more stuff in the case because they are trying to make up for the piece of crap they just sold you. Sort of a guilt thing, you know. . .

A left handed MM Super Sport in translucent blue and I've never been more impressed. No wonder I can't get any quality flamed or quilted maple for my turnings, Ernie Ball has it all.

The manual might have told how the tremolo arm comes out, most of my F****** unscrewed. I'm guessing it pulls out.

They stopped doing the case candy as it has been called awhile ago. You get the basics.

Yeah. Just pull out the arm if you want to, but there's really no reason to pull it out if you use it regularly and you're using the Music Man hard cases.

There really isn't much need for any case candy. Allen wrenches? No need. You don't need the Allen wrenches for truss rod adjustments, which are the first thing that one should do for adjusting the action of the guitar. Okay, you might need Allen wrenches for raising and lowering saddles. Those things are easy enough to buy if you want them or to take from another guitar that came with them. I haven't had any need for them. Truss rod adjustments have been sufficient. For those, you just need a tool to turn the wheel.

I like to keep all the necessary tools, picks, an extra high E, a cloth and some string spray. Now that I have a BEAUTIFUL silo, there's gonna be some wonderwipes inbound ;)
