I'm still planning to change the setup on my SUB1 from 1 pickup to 2. I already have some nice pickups. :) Now all i need is some electronics. I'm going to buy 500K CTS pots and a .47 cap. I also need a switch since the 1 pickup SUB1 doesnt have one by default.

My question is what brand/type of switch is used on Musicman guitars? (the 3 way one) If someone could help me out with this, it would be great! :)

contact your distributor for holland or dealer for replacement parts. The simplest way to get them.

I've wondered about this myself. I suspect the switches are Switchcraft. I say that only because they feel very similar to my Les Paul and I've heard that Gibson uses Switchcraft. Whatever they use, they have a very positive feel that I really like. Also, I really like the pots they use. They are very nice and smooth for volume swells. If I end up switching the pickups on my JP, I'll have to change the pots as well, so I'd be interested in knowing what brand they are or if you can buy the components from the factory.

Actually, the 5 way on the ASS's are different than any I've seen. Hard to explain but the wiring is different. I figured it out the hard way.

It looks like the Superswitch but it isn't
