The Luke neck is tiny. Very much a love or hate it thing. I don't have much problem with adapting to different necks but the Luke is very comfortable despite me having quite big hands, yet the Jem and Universe necks were always very clunky feeling when, in theory, they should be more comfortable for me. Weird

The Axis neck is an oddity. it felt too bulky and unweildy at first but had melted into my hands in under a minute of playing...it will be mine.

Can't help on the Morse though. Never seen one never mind played one. The choice of 8 x 10^9 pickups would baffle me though.

Do people really have so much difficulty with switch positions? I rarely play with my right hand too far from the strings so never bump into switches

I have a problem bumping my blade switch on my Strat when I'm playing, usually knocking it from the neck pup to the "tweener" position. Gives you a VERY noticeable tone change when that happens.

Right now, I'm leaning toward either the Silhouette or maybe an Axis Super Sport. Gonna get me an EB/MM guitar soon, though.

Thanks for the feedback. :)

Can the Luke do tones from fat Allman Brothers type to jangly Stratoid type tones?

I was looking at the Silhouettes mostly cause they have a bucker in the neck for the fat, smooth sound. Can a Luke do that kinda tone?

I would have to say the Albert Lee is more similar to a strat for the notch positions. I use the Luke neck pick up more than all other switch positions combined but i'd call it more rounded than FAT.

But Smoooooooth.

I had that problem on a Texas Special Strat I had years ago. I mostly use the neck p/up, so I just turned the switch around.

This worked slightly better than Jon's first idea of attempting to play guitar while standing on his head.

Nyuck, nyuck, nyuck.
