What video is this Morse clip from?

The DVD is called Steve Morse - Cruise Control.

It features a Dixie Dregs concert live in Conneticut 2001 and Steve Morse Band - Live In New York 1992.

Needless to say it is totally amazing.

I love his version of Jesu Joy of Mans Desiring.

On the back it has www.t2media.net as an address though I'm sure it is available widely elsewhere if I can get it in England!

I believe the DVD is called Sects, Dregs and Rock&Roll wich also has the longest interview ever done w/ Mr. Morse. There is also the awesome solo he did from the Deep Purple concert in Australia from Total Abandon DVD. I have the DVD and that's what it's called, unless there is another one with the same stuff called differently?

Actually, I think that you're both right. DaveB is talking about the European release of the same footage. The title of that is "Cruise Control." The U.S. release is "Sects,..." I saw both on the net, and I read somewhere that "Cruise" has most of the same footage. "Sects,..." has more, though.

I have an european version and it's called sects, dregs & rock'n'roll. i think the european version has a blue cover and the american has a red one, but the titles are the same. if you ask me, that cruise control dvd, that you find often on ebay, is rather doubtful

also, on that australian dixie dregs fan site (its linked on steves site) this guy named heath barrett claims he did the liner notes for cruise control...

Cruise Control is definitely an official release here in the UK. I bought mine from Amazon.

I searched the web and it turns out t2media renamed it and improved the audio quality of the concerts, forcing them to leave out some of the bonus material, such as the deep purple stuff and that clinic interview. it's available in PAL format only.

A funny thing is that he is wearing a "Batschkapp" T-shirt... Batschkapp (hessian name for a hat) is a famous Club in Frankfurt / Germany, about 60 miles away from my place... Amazing.

Cool...I always wondered what it means...I figured it must be some place in Frankfurt, cuz it said Frankfurt on the shirt too
