What was changed on the AL in June 1996 ???

Pickguard heaven offers different AL-pickguards:

Two things that I have noticed - the length of the pickguard on the bass side (it's longer on my 93 AL than on my others), and subsequently, the location of the screw closest to the bass side of the bridge - it is in a different location, slightly neck-ward from the position of the same screw on my 93. A newer guard covers the original screw hole, but just barely......

Heh, John and I both discovered that by ordering the wrong p/gs.

I put a newer one on my old AL, just had to re-drill one of the holes to line up properly.

Ahem....I provided S/N proof for mine, and still received what appears to be a "too new" guard - I would not say that I ordered the wrong one...... But there shouldn't be a problem.....

Yes I did. I meet the seller tomorrow in Augsburg.

Then I have to test, which SSS guitar is the one I like more - silo or AL. I can´t really affort both F***ing Gas

Give me time... I will tell you, if there is something to sell. Maybe, maybe, maybe there will be a way keeping both, I don´t know. It would be better to sell one.... I´ll Keep you updated!
