..................... to be on stage with your favorite band or artist?

I watch videos of ToTo, Deep Purple, Eric Clapton, etc, playing to what looks like an audience of thousands of people, and I wish that I could be playing along with them on stage for a few songs. It wouldn't even matter if the guitar amp I was connected to was turned on or not, it would be sooooooooo freeking cool.

I would give my left..............er..........Ball to be able to play along with these guys.
How 'bout you?

Thoughts?

I'm not sure I'd be willing to pay/give anything to play on stage with any of them. It would mean a lot less to me if I had to pay for it. I can think of an analogy, but it might not be appropriate to post.....:eek:

Just getting to meet and hang out with them at the MusicMan open houses is plenty good enough for me - and it's virtually free.

<ass kissing off>

In all seriousness, I see those ads for Rock and Roll Fantasy camp and can't help but wonder what numb-nut would pay almost $10K to do that...

I guess it would come down to if I believe I would have something to add to the music. If Ron Wood wanted me to play a lead for Sympathy for the Devil - awesome. Or perhaps if I could jam with Clapton and friends at some Crossroads Blues festival encore, that would be great.

If John Petrucci wanted me to play lead for As I Am...... I would just sit in my seat.

I wouldn't pay, but I always thought the Who concert where the 18 year old replaced a passed out Keith Moon would be a great repeat for maybe John Fresciente or if Billie Joe Armstrong broke his wrist just as he got on stage......
