So there is a Local Luke 2 for sale. There's a decent size finish wear below the picking area.
Has case, no papers.
What's reasonable. I see the standard black going for around 1000 used. With the wear what would you consider a good deal.

$1k is a good deal. You could always find out more based on the serial number and posting here in thread for serial number lookups. Wonder how that wear happened, is it just dirt?

Me personally, i wouldn't pay 1000 dollars for a black luke 2. I prefer luke3 and i like a bit of colour. And this propably has some wear all over.... i would say, for 800 you have got a great deal! All depends on how much the wear bothers you.

I think the Luke 2 is a nicer guitar then the LIII, so I'd be interested for that price, but I'd want to inspect it in person first, to see if it could be restored well enough to make it worthwhile.

If a guitar is a case queen, then you don't have to worry too much - but this isn't one of those so you need to really get into this guitar...

Frets has been mentioned - but worth taking off the control panel on the back to make sure beer and sweat don't pour out.

This pony has been ridden hard - that's not a bad thing if she's been well maintained - but gotta check her teeth to make sure she's not ready for the glue factory! :)
