What would your bass say about you...

I mean this in three ways.

1. What would your main go to say about you if it could talk


2. What does your collection as a whole say about you
(IE: Mr. Doe has many bursts and naturals, so it could be said that he has a liking for the 'old-school')

3.What would You Like your collection as a whole/go to to say about you

Alright, now excuse the unproductive thread, but I just felt like having some bass related fun, no seriousness here boys, creativity can run wild!

1. My main bass would say, "Hey! See this little knob? Yeah, fool, it's called 'treble'! You should try it sometime!"

2. My collection, as a whole, says that I don't need no stinkin' spalt.

3. I would like my collection to say, "Hey, Mrs Bovinehost needs to pose with us more."

1. I taught this old man how to groove.

2. He likes me better than them fenders over there collecting dust.

3. As a whole the fenders are saying excuse me SR5 you could have played bad with flats atleast. He could show us some love but you have that extra string.


Not creative but my bass does talk to me really. The SR5 ratted what the others said out to me. Cuz I couldn't hear them.

Hopefully my bass would say I look after her and treat her well even though I do play up a little bit sometimes and go out with other basses but seem to always come back to her.

I don't have a collection at this point, and really only want to keep two or three basses around when I've finished my purchases.

But, my basses (EB/MM's) will say that I am an old school soul with just a touch of modern feel, with little need for flash. They'll say that I love them for what they are unconditionally, and always try to bring the best out of them (and they of me).

They'll also say: "Which one of us do you like best?"
