Hello all!

Need some information now.I've ordered a JP BFR on february 20 and talk to my local dealer yesteday.(Not far from 6 month now) He told me the JP BFR was out of production for a while due to a lack of mahogany 10a grade for the toneblock. Is that true you think???

Many thanks!!!

David from Quebec, Canada.

Not true....what store did you order your BFR from? If it was L&M then they are about 3 weeks from completion....if its another store let me know and I'll get you the eta, it shouldn't be to far out.

Hello Kevin!

It's at Metronomie in Rimouski. It's suppose to be Jeff Bard who represent ErniBall in Quebec and it's himself who tell to my seller this information.

Many thanks again.

Note: I'm not angry but juste a little bored to wait.6 or 7 month was ok but not 10 to 11 month.

Please, dont stop to do the greatest guitar in the world!!!

An happy jp6 fully load pearl redburst owner.

David.

what the dealer probably meant to say was....that the BFR's receive only top grade(the best available tops) we set aside specific BFR grade tops that are the absolute best quilt and flame that is out there. Is that the primary reason that the BFR has taken a bit longer to arrive in Canada than expected....no. Keep in mind that the BFR's shown at the NAMM show were our first prototypes so of course they have taken a bit longer than our normal orders that were taken in February. Like every Music Man instrument we won't ship them until there perfect!! Shoot me an e-mail and we'll find out when your's will arrive.

And Welcome to the forum's...hang around and have some fun! :)
