hi guys,
Found a Luke I may be interested in but sadly it's not a black sparkle .... DOH !!!
It's Luke Blue and has a couple of minor dings, no musicman case (bah !!) and it may go for a decent price.
I was wondering if you guys could tell me how old it is ? here's the serial number G06330.

Cheers ...

I got en email back from the guy and he says he wrote the number down wrong, it should be GO6300.
Does this one check out ?
Looks like the saddles have been replaced with what look like Saddle savers, would they fit ? I guess they would if they're Fender style saddles.

Will post a pick later.

Cheers ..

Hey BGG,

Just a note of caution...I think it may be worth a few more dollars and a bit more time to get your LUKE stock with no changes (OK, maybe strings).

If it then requires customizing to personal tastes, do it then.

NOTE the stock saddles are different on PIEZO Luke's than they are on one's without piezo as almost all Lukes out there are.

Piezo Lukes have three knobs, 2 switches.

Personally, I like having an extra knob:D

The seller just replied and he says that the saddles are black and they are the original ones ?
I've only ever seen nickel ones in the pics of Lukes, were they ever black ?
