Haven't named any of my guitars or musical instruments, ever. My sisters name theirs, but I don't. Also, I don't plan to. The JP6 is "the orange one" and the OLP is "the black one".

I refer to mine by color or age and manufacturer/type. And that's true for all of the instruments (synths, guitars, drums, etc.). Sounds like I'm not alone there.

Gotta love pjc182's naming the ugly guitar "Latrine", though.

I have a few guitars named.

as far as music man:

my blue axis is "The Spaceball 3000"

I have a black sparkle axis SS that I was going to name HELL, but I found out they didn't ever make a White Sparkle SS (to be named HEAVEN. cheesy, I know). I will probably buy matching Silos instead, but I missed the last WS on ebay. couldn't swing the dough.

Naturally, my Rosewood is named "Brown Sugar".

My favorite guitar, my purple axis has no name oddly enough. Maybe "Grimace"?

As far as other brands, these are the named ones:

My little travel acoustic is named "LR" for ("the little rocker")

my mini LP is called "LRE" for (little rocker electric)

my pink mini ukulele is called the "lil' hellion"

my yamaha travel acoustic is "the love boat captain"

My str@t is named "Chewie"

don't be hatin' because of the other brands. :) You asked.
