Looks like caramel burst to me, alot like my 20th, nice guitar, would buy one in a heartbeat if that was a color option.:D

From what I remember, the story goes that JP was in BP's office (or somewhere like that) playing a 20th silo and he really liked it. So BP offered to make him one with the JP body, switching and pickups. There were 2 made as far as I can recall reading, but they (somewhat sadly) never made it into production. It seems tho that this proto is a is partly the inspiration for the JP-F1. This particular finish isn't an option as I remember reading here, that JP doesn't like the colour too much.

Is that the same guitar that he uses on The Spirit Carries On?

At any rate, when I saw that guitar, it literally took my breath away. That is quite possibly the most beautiful thing that isn't my Wife and Kids I've ever seen!
