I don't get why people are giving the Mark V negative reviews. If you know anything about the Mark series of amplifiers, you'd know you have to tweak the hell out of them.

Mine will be on the way soon...

exactly right... and that is the exact reason i wont let go of mine yet for an axe-fx, i just havent had the time to sit down and dial it in yet.... from what ive heard its phenomenal. i have actually managed to get a fantastic rhythm sound out of ch2, but the lead tones have alluded me as of yet..

Believe me, when I first got the Mark V I was so discouraged because I couldn't get a decent tone. But once I saw other people's settings, and tweaked them a bit I couldn't be more happy with how it sounds.

And to be honest there is only one feature I don't really enjoy too much, and it's the Extreme setting on Ch. 3. To me it doesn't seem like there is really that much more gain rather it seems louder.

Any-who, it's got crystal clear cleans, an awesome rhythm channel dripping with tons of gain, and a lead channel that absolutely slays.
