diference sub and stingray
The finish is only in a few colours and just plain not highglossy polyester.
The neck is laquered not waxed(dark low cost)
The bridge is diferent (low cost)
The pickguard is a cheaper not a 3-ply but a single what they call
diamond one.
The cheapest one is a passive one with optional 2band EQ.
Be wise!

SUB / Sting Ray comparison
The S.U.B. Bass is manufactured at the same factory as the Sting Ray in San Luis Obispo, CA. The same electronics, bridge, saddles and design are used. The body is poplar with a textured finish, and offers a black painted neck and rosewood fretboard . The Passive electronics option is unique, however only a 2-Band, not 3-Band EQ preamp version is available. The S.U.B. will only be offered in these four colors: Black, White, Teal , Red
