Hi All,

Last night I was about to reach for the very very fine steel wool for a spruce up of the frets and fingerboard of my Silhouette - but stopped - what the best way to carry out a deep clean?

I seem to remember having used steel wool on previous models and then dressing the board with something that wasn't lemon oil, but it's been such a while since I've needed to to this, I've forgotten what I did!

Whats the preferred option chaps?

Cheers, and thanks in advance,
Ben.

Thanks guys, exactly what I needed - and also highlights my lack of searching on EB before sticking a post on ;-)
Cheers,
Ben.

So what if murphy's oil soap doesn't cut it. Is there an option to sanding? And if sanding is needed, what would recommend for grit?
