I would love to have another Axis Super Sport. Especially if it were S/S/S! I kick myself daily for selling that red, MM90/Piezo to beej! :)

And I'm kicking myself for selling it as well ... but I had to fund the 20th (and can't say I regret buying that one! It's a baaaaad mofo!)

If you go out to Gbase - Home and do a search on Axis, you can find a bunch of older Axis Sports with SSS configuration. Pretty cool guitars.

Here's an example (my favorite one):

Gbase - Gear Details

You'll find that most of the Axis and Axis Sports are from Royal. Their prices tend to be high, but they seem to have a lot of NOS. They also, don't always keep their inventory listings up to date.

I think I've seen a video of Toto with Luke playing that one, in a fairly low tuning, I recall.

i always watch the country tv channel, we get lots of USA content but also plenty of questionable aussie stuff too! Heaps of EBMM guitars on display in the USA country songs, mostly Super Sports every time, with MM90's. Not many Albert's which is confusing.
