I already have an Axis Sport and I love it but the neck does get a little "clubby" feeling in the middle register.

Im not concerned about width. Im talking about front to back thinness with a rosewood finger board. I dont want a Luke or Silhouette Special.

What about the Morse gtrs or the Petrucci or the Silhouette or the 20th Anniversary??

Im assuming the Super Sport is the same neck as a Sport.

The JP neck is really thin. I bit thicker than a Wizard neck (Ib@nez RG Prestige) if you're familiar with those guitars.

Being a long time Ibby player, I would say the same. Those old original Wizards were rediculously thin, the JP's neck is just a bit rounder in the back. I think it fills my palm just the right amount, where the Ibanez neck could fatigue the inner hand muscles after playing for long periods, due to the extreme thiness. The 7 string neck is no exception, which is what I play most of the time.

Of all the EBMM's I've tried, I would agree - the JP's were the thinnest. Great axes.

Yah man 100% your looking for the JP neck. The Silo and 20th are very similar to the Silo Special, as is the AL.
