Jon may know for sure but from what I understand, although EB will not make a "one-off" custom Basse for a customer, they will do so if a certain number are ordered. The proviso may be that the customer has to be a distributor.

... if the string-thru bridge doesnt suck.
i just put a badass on a new fender p bass (which is string thru) and there's WAY more sustain with the badass than the dicky like stock fender bridge
