I have 6 guitars, but I only play my EBMM JP6 and my Martin acoustic anymore. I have a bunch of rack stuff, but I only use my Mesa Boogie Nomad 55 4x10 anymore.

I pretty much only play my Axis now, through my 5150. I usually add the Boss EQ in the loop, sometimes with Chorus and/or Boss Delay. Less is more.

I just upgraded my rig a bit.....I'm now running my EVH into a A/B amp switcher. Channel A on the switcher is going to my Marshall JCM 800 and a Marshall 4x12 cab, which is only used for the Lead Channel, distortion.....Channel B goes to my Marshall JCM 900 and a Marshall 4x10 cab which I use for the clean channel. I'm running my POD Pro into the JCM 900 also..

EBMM guitars - Line 6 Vetta II....nothing else

EBMM bongo - Ampeg...nothing else.

Just me. I think the Vetta II provides enough effects and amp simulations for my taste and needs.

The bass is simply plug and play for me. I like the natural bass sound. No effects. No need...kill 'em naturally I say!

I'm very happy with my gigging set up.
My bass is a 2004 Natural StingRay with a maple fretboard, piezo sadles, 3-band EQ, abalone pickguard, and matching Q-parts black chrome abalone knobs.
I also use a Engelhardt EM1 Upright.
I run it through a Electro-Harmonics Bass Micro Synth (mainly for fuzz) and a Boss Noise supressor.
My amp is a Mark VIII series Peavey head on a 2x15 blackwidow Peavey cabinet. The beauty of this beast is that it puts out amazing sound and it only cost me 200 bucks.
For practice I use a 110 Backline Gallien-Krueger (also only paid 70 bucks for it).
For strings I use nothing but EB Super Bass Slinkys . ;)

I use an ernie ball music man sterling, blue dawn color. I also use an ampeg svt 3 pro with an 8 10 ampeg cab. I use an swr 4 10 cab for smaller gigs. For direct inputting, I use a Sansamp bass driver because you get to control your tone and volume level, not the sound man. That makes it so much easier to be able to hear yourself. I have never had a problem with this rig and will use it forever.

Backup for your backup? Damn, I'm doing well if I bring spare tubes... ;)

Yeah, well.... I'm actually looking to get rid of some of the processors (the ART, maybe the Digitech GNX2 which I just bought a few weeks ago).

I was on the fence about the Triple XXX head, so I bought the GNX2. Then I decided to get the head, and no longer had a need for the GNX2. (Which I bought as a backup for my RP-2000, which was my main sound at the time.)
