For this past week-end's gigs, I'd thought I'd use my new Marcus 4 string, new string's and all. But, after the first set, at least to my ear's, it just was'nt happen'. So, I reached for the heavy artillery, my trusty 77' Ash/Maple Mo-Fo!. And it was like a diesel truck, fat and funky as you wanna Be! And it made me realize, just like and old friend you haven't seen in year's but can pick up where you last left off, or that pair of Levi's or baseball mitt, it just felt like home. Now I'm seriously thinking of thinning out the herd and just exclusively using Ol' 77' and my Sr5. At least on the gig that's one consistent I can count on. Sorry for the rant, but I'm just a proud Music Man / E.B player!
