I'll get emails saying "so&so" has replied to a thread - but when I click the link the EB site says the thread is invalid. The thread was there yesterday. What's going on?

Wouldn't it be simpler to just get rid of the people doing this? (I won't mention anyone's name...) Since certain people joined (again, I won't mention any names), threads have been going down hill.

They're ruining decent threads!!

I think Mr Trussbroken deleted one thread and I deleted another. When the thread becomes overloaded with trash, it cannot be saved.

I will do everything I can do to keep this forum what it has been all along, and I won't allow one or two people to drag it down into foolish, childish boasting, bravado, BS and trash-talking.

I spelled out pretty clearly what I thought we were doing here, and how to be a member in good standing.

I've talked with our resident admin, and he leaves the call to me as far as permanent banning goes. If I ask him to ban, that person IS gone. Same goes for Rod T, I would imagine, although I must say moderating this forum has been pretty easy until lately. So we haven't much discussed banning and deleting and so on.

And, as I've said over and over again, I'd rather NOT get into that business. So let's move forward and play nice!

Thanks for understanding.

Jack
