I buy most of my strings (ernie ball not so slinky) from Music123.com they are definantly my favorite music store and so is americanmusical.com

Music123 they cost $5.79 but i found them for $3.98!!! Luckily music.123 will beat any price

so i just bought 8 packs for $3.75 each. For me music123 is the way to go since I live 100 miles away from their warehouse I get my orders in 1 day after they ship. It sucks cause I have to pay taxes on my orders since we are in the same state. But the super short shipping time makes up for it.

So where do you guys buy your strings from

Amazon.com, since I get to use my gift cards there. Although it's hard to find the RPS9s there. I think when I run out I'll try the new titanium coated instead.

I get em at Daddy's Junky Music. I buy a $20 accessory card at the beginning of the year. It's good for $5 every month in accessories, which includes strings. They sell slinkys for less than $5, so I'm good for a set every month.

They do this to get people regularly in their stores. As if I needed an excuse......I'm in every week!

Yeah, it's nice to have such a wide selection of dealers to choose from, as well as home delivery - can't beat it!!

The only thing is, I don't think it's too cool to be talking product pricing.

Great strings - I LOVE EM!!!!:)

Why do you think its not cool to talk price? Dont you want everyone to get the best deal they can?

Because there are several dealers who frequent this place. Putting out pricing is frowned upon. Simple as that.

My local Guitar Center didn't have Ernie Ball acoustic strings???!!! I walked out empty handed and now I always buy online. They were $5 when I got them off Music123.

I've missed you BP! Sorry I have been gone so long. At church I switched to drums and have been on them for a few years now instead of bass (we gained another bass player and lost a drummer so I made the switch to help out). Besides that I play acoustic at the local jail for the inmates. So I'm not using Ernie Ball instruments since my world is acoustic guitar and drums..... but I use your strings and bought a EB strap. I love the quality of everything you guys do!!!!!!

I buy my Balls from a local store and try to support them as much as I can.
It would suck if I couldn't just go to the storeand get what I need.
Nothing wrong with buying online, I just wanna help the locals.

I get all my strings from my local EBMM dealer. Hey, we gotta support the local dealers! And, of course, the strings are always Ernie Ball.

I get my EB's, and most of my gear at Sweetwater.com Always a great price, and always free shipping, with no minimum purchase ! They even call me and confirm my order (even if I just order a couple sets of strings). I swear by these guys for 90% of my gear purchases ! Dave

A lot of times I buy my Ernie Ball Super Slinky Acoustic and Electric strings from my local dealer in Conway, Arkansas [Jack's Music]. If you pay cash or check he knocks 50 per cent from the listed retail value which comes out to about $4.25 for the electrics and $5.25 for the acoutics [plus NO SHIPPING charges], so it is just about as good as deal as you can anywhere and I always try to support the local dealers as much as I can!

I am running a Poll on my guitar string info website and was pleasantly surprised to find that over half (52%) of guitarists still buy strings from their local music store, not online. :)

Another poll I ran showed Ernie Ball Slinkies as Favorite Electric Guitar Strings :D (Choices were Ernie Ball, D'Addario, Dunlop, Rotosound).

I like to buy my strings from the local shop.I pay a little more but I would hate to see them go under.I strayed away from the fold for a while and used just about everyting under the sun.But I have found balls are the best out there and the price is good to.
