Hey,

I'm going to be in Minneapolis for about a week and I was hoping to do some shopping for Music Man guitars while there.....I'm still on my quest to try out an Albert Lee. Can anyone recommend a guitar store(s) worth checking out while I'm there?? Any input is appreciated. Thanks....

As a life long resident of the Twin Cities, I can tell you - no, there isn't. Especially if you want to play an AL. The Guitar Centers are your best bet for finding EBMMs though. Frequently they will have ASSes, a Luke, a JP, maybe an Axis - lots of basses though. Your best bet is to call each store to see.

Ask for Dave Phillips at the Roseville store - he will help you out. (651) 634-0100. He has been there forever and is a really good guy. Good luck.

Great. Thanks for the response. I'll be spending most of my time in Bloomington, so I'll try to find a Guitar Center around there, but if I can sneak away, I'll shoot up to Roseville to see what I can find.

The GC in Edina would be closest to you (the two suburbs actually border each other). Even so, if Roseville has what you want to play - it's only 15-20 miuntes away - as long as you don't go during rush hour.

There are also some really great smaller shops in the area too, if you want to see something other than EBMMs let me know and I'll be happy to suggest other places. You can find almost any gear you are looking for within 25 minutes of Minneapolis.
