There are, thankfully, very few backstage photos. Can you feel the love here?

Luke, wherever you are, whatever you are doing, and I suspect you are somewhere in Europe being famous and stuff.....I will always really dig this moment and whatever the hell was going on at the time.

"Bove! My man!"

Wherever you are, man, I hope you are having fun.

my favorite backstage moment with Luke went somthing like this ...

We were hanging out backstage after the show. i was hammered and switced to diet coke and Luke noticed i had a coke instead of a beer, called me some "not so pg13 things" and "made" me get a beer. then it was time for another smoke, Luke dropped his pack so i put a smoek in his mouth cuz he wasnt a big fan of moving at that point LOL. then somehow i called him a rockstar and he said "**** &*&* $%$#7&* im not a rockstar im a musician" ... then i grabbed the cig outta his mouth and said something like "well, i only give cigrarettes to rockstars"

i think that's how it went. good times

He's just such a good human being, isn't he?

I mean, all the rock star stuff aside, and I admit that I had no real idea about Luke other than the Toto hits, I fell so completely in love with him.

I have some pretty fabulous memories from the Open House event, but every now and then, I think about Luke....and you know? What a good guy.

Plus, as I have mentioned time and time again, the mofo SMELLED wonderful.

I do loves me some Lukather.

Luke's the second dude i met at open house (him n BP pulled up the the country club as we got there) and right off the bat he was all about having fun and super friendly.

to be honest I'd never heard anything by Luke (maybe theres some Toto songs that i dont know are Toto songs). I just liked the dude - awesome/famous guitar playing aside. hes jsut outgoing, humble and nice and just likes having a good time and his personality ensures that the "having a good time" thing is infecious.

he's a good cat

Luke was definitely one of the highlights I was looking forward to, although I didn't get to say hi or hang with him, just getting to hear him crack up the crowd and PLAY like a true Great was amazing. A genuine Dude if ever there was!

I walked into the Firestone Grill Friday afternoon and Luke and I look at each other from across the bar and it was like we instantly knew each other for years.

Great mofo...I kissed him smack dab on the mouth.

Oh yeah, like I was capable of speech at that point.

So I'm sure Luke said "Put her there, Bove" and I was just trying to react like a human.
