Where's Spectorbassguy? (Not sure of his actual name...)

I was going to post a question about his fretless and realized we haven't seen him on the boards for a couple months.

I looked him up and he had 1200+ posts.

I thought it was odd he just drop off the earth.

PsychicPet posted a while ago that Spectorbassguy was going through some family stuff. It's been a while, but that's the reason. I hope he's doing alright.

Hi guys, ya,Todd’s hanging in there. I emailed him a week or so ago. He definitely could still use our thoughts and prayers but is doing well. Its not a health issue or anything like just ’Life’ stuff.

Here I am! I'm OK, don't fret! Currently living with my daughter and son-in-law temporarily since my wife has chosen a certain mind-altering powdery substance over sleep (and for the time being over our relationship - long story - just say a little prayer for us please).
Anywho I've been running our business solo so I don't have a lot of extry time to be on the net. Pete's been keeping up with me and sorry JB1 I didn't get your e-mail.
BTW my name is now a complete farce since I sold my last Spector bass. But I have picked up a Dean Pace EUB and am having a blast with it. It really does get an uprighty sound if you tweak your amp a little. And yesterday I went into our brand-spankin' new Guitar Center in Des Moines. Cool shop. I've always wanted to add a passive bass to my arsenal so I bought an OLP MM3 5 string to mess around with. I am really surprised at its playability. The action is nice and low and no buzzes. I haven't figured out what each of the 3 knobs is for so I'm experimenting with it now. Fun to play though. I sure wish they had $250.00 basses that sounded this good when I started playing almost 30 years ago!
I'll try to check in more often. Thanks for thinking of me!

Hey Todd,
I don't want to sound corny, but God will not put more upon us than we can bear.
Our burdens make us stronger if we just hang in.
Our prayers and God's blessings upon you and your house.

Yo Todd (or DeanPaceEUBGuy!),

I'm not so much a man of God, but I tell ya this.

I wish you all the best in the world, I truly hope things work out & your wife gets well (I think that's the right way to say it, bud).

As for my email, heck, don't even think about it.

Write me if you need anything. I'm thousands of miles away, but maybe even a few words of support will help.

All the best man.

It's good to see you on again. I knew if I got enough of us together we could coax you out! ;)

Good luck with life - I'll say a prayer for you.

Not corny at all, BP. It's that very concept (and a wonderful church family) that keeps me going.

Truly a heartfelt thanks to all of you for your comments and prayers - they really do help.
