I have a 1994 Sting Ray and play mostly country/country rock/old rock and roll. I recently got an empty 4x10 Hartke cabinet, all wired...I just need to get four 10" speakers to fill it. I was wondering if you guys could toss me some ideas about which ones would be good. (I sing and play drums in my band, but I play bass on the side.) My bass player uses an Eden Nemesis; my other rig is a single 15" Peavey Black Widow, with Carvin R1000 head.)

Any ideas on the four 10's?

Thanks,

Mike

Go to www.usspeaker.com and navigate to the Eminence 10" drivers. The Deltalite 2510 Neodymium speakers or the Kappa Pro 10s are what I would go with. Both are 119.99 apiece. The Legend B102 whizzer cone 10's look interesting, too, since the Hartke cabinets generally don't have tweeters. They appear to have a relatively broad frequency response and are only 89.99 per speaker, but don't have as high power handling.

Anyway, I think what we're saying here is go with Eminence! I believe my Bergantino HT322 uses a variation of Eminence Kappa drivers, and they are audiophile quality while producing a veritable WALL of sound.
