The look of the Albert Lee MM has grown on me so much that i need some advise on which AL to get. Humbuckers , SSS or P90's Humbuckers with the African Mohagany or SSS or P90's with the Southern Ash. Is there an option for 2 P90's rather than 3 ? Has anyone played all 3 AL's including the BFR ? Please help thanks.

any one! -just get one!

THe BFR is a tone orgasam - the toneblock compliments the amazing standard in an AL as is. The HH Model is the most dynamic guitar for me - and a stock single SSS is a great guitar, never been lucky enough to get a shot of a MM90 model but never heard a bad word about them either!

Sounds like you are a humbucker person...
Do you want a single coil sound?
If so, try the MM90. Still sound strat-like but fatter.
Otherwise try the HH.

I've played SSS with trem,SSS Hardtail, MM90 and a BFR.

Played a HH but not in anger.

I have the HH option covered with my JP6 and EVH. What guitar do I go for first? the 05 BCB AL SSS.
Love it.

I've played the MM90 and the HH. I love the MM90's. The HH is my next favorite. I think it comes down to what you are looking for as far as sounds and what not. Only you can pick the one(s) that's right for you.

Good luck, Glenn |B)

Here's my opinion:

From your question about a 2 MM90 option....I don't like the lack of space between pickups of the MM90 Al. But.....you could buy an MM90 AL and then have Chandler make you a 2 pickup pickguard. I love the MM90's on my ASS.

HH: it's going to replace your ASS!

SSS: I am not an SSS guy, but my Al SSS is just heaven to play.
