Question which EB Bass strings have the highest tension?

I really like the sound and feel of the strings that came on my Big Al, but they were just a little too soft for my taste.

Now I wonder what to go for (maybe steels?).

Firstly, I'm no expert! ... but I believe thicker strings generally equate to higher tension. I have tried many different types of strings - and recently settled on Slinky Hybrids. You might consider giving those a try. Personally, I prefer standard vs coated.
