Is the color listed as "white" in the EB color chart a solid white, pearl white, or a sparkle white?

All the colours that are "pearl" are listed as such, so I guess it's just plain white......unless someone else knows different.....

It is a pretty milky looking white, looks way better in person

Yep, a nice solid, milky white.
You can see the contrast of the body to the stark white of the knobs and PUPs on my Silo.

I am waiting for my White JP, and I can't wait to see it in person...

It is supposed to arrive next month! Hooray!

I just hope it has the metallic element I have seen on all other finishes from EB.

Dude, I hate to crush your dreams, but the white has no metallic in it what so ever, it's just as the color says, white.

That's a good comparison. Thanks for that.

Glad to hear that it is solid. Looks like it is more of an ivory or creme color as opposed to a snow white or alpine white.
