White Sparkle Sterling anyone??

Ok. Im a self confessed gear whore. I just got a Bongo 5 as a gift and now Ive got GAS for a StingRay 5. Im entertaining trade offers, and if nothing comes up I'll sell it to get cash to buy a StingRay 5. Most have seen the pics, but oh well here they are again.

If you sell the Sterling, I have the SR5 that I got from John (Aragorn35016) that I don't think I'm going to keep. If you might be interested, let me know. It's Blue Pearl with a white pickguard. I bought a Lakland 55-02 Dlx the other day and I really love the wider string spacing on it. It would be nice to keep it in the south where it belongs.

I really like the sound but the string spacing on the 55-02 fits me much better. That SR5 is a sweet bass though.

I've got a '79 P bass that I've had since '85!

I was just ready to go back to playing 5 string a few months ago and I've been trying out a few different models. I feel the best way to do that is to actually have them in your possession for a couple of weeks or more and really put them through their paces.

BTW, I was perfectly happy until I started hanging out in these forums!
