Does anyone have a Retroburst Stingray Classic and have pictures of it? I'd love to see what one looks like. I've tried searching the forums, but haven't found anything. Debating on whether I want a Retro or a Tobacco.

I was hoping someone who OWNED one would have pictures. I had seen the ones on Bass Central, etc. Bass Central's pictures tend to have really high contrast which makes it hard to judge the actual color. Oh well. Thanks anyway.

Here are a couple photos of mine. I picked this baby up at the Philadelphia Guitar Convention late last November where they modeled some of the new 2011 finishes...

Ah, thank you! I saw your videos onYoutube I think. Playing AC/DC right? Those pictures are more helpful!

I have no idea what I am gonna do. I desperately want a Classic, but I am not going to have the money for months unless I part with a limited color Rickenbacker. And no one does three month layaway, haha.

I wish I had discovered these earlier, so I wouldn't feel under the gun to grab a discontinued Tobacco before they run out. Thank you, Louis Johnson and Tony Levin, for feuling my already-out-of-control GAS.

Yes, that's me. I haven't recorded in awhile. Mainly because I want a better amp, and something better to actually record with. Nonetheless, the Retro Burst is a fine finish on a fine instrument. One of the subtleties about it is the deep brown edging. From a distance it appears almost black, but when you get up close, you see that nice chocolately brown! MMMMMMMM delicious!
