I paid really low for this one.

Its in mint cond.
I'm just kinda interested what they fetch in different parts of the world.
Could you PM with the price please ?
Did you have the manual with it - I got it and could scan it for you.

I got the manual from marshall, emailed them and in one week they send me one copy.
Bought it 2nd hand from a friend and he hasn't the original manual anymore.
Still got plastic cover.
Never crashed or serviced.
Was made in 88 (need to check circuit inspection again)

Bought it 92 for equivalent U$150.

They are expremely rare here. Just saw 2 of these, but in crap condition.

Amps price grow alot here.

The average value of one mint is now in U$600~750.

Will post pics soon.

Do they actually make a Marshall that sounds good? I had a Valvstate for awhile but it sounded like a swarm of angry bees. The only Marshall I ever thought that sounded good was the old JCM 800's but I never got into them either because they never had the low end and mid range punch the old Boogies have.

JCM 800 50W combo here! (ca. 1983-vertical inputs, one channel, no 'verb or loop)
I had a few minor (reversible) mods done including a resonance control and Weber Silver Bell speaker.

Verdict?....the cat's ass.
It sings, it screams, it purrs, it rumbles..and...It knocks the bric-a-brac off the shelves at 50 paces!:)

i´m using a silver jubilee 2550 fullstack.
the recto on the left stack replaced my 6100 anniversary head, but in the future i´ll buy one again.
the silver is a killer amp!

AVT150 combo here. I like it. Takes time to get a decent sound out of it though, but once its there its lovely. Still, would swap it for a CAE OD100 if anyone's willing....any takers? I'll cover the carriage...

Marshall JMP 1 pre-amp

Garage full of Marshall cabs of various sizes depending on size of gig/rehearsal/enthusiasm.:D

PS I nearly got a job as a rep with Marshall 13 years ago (nearly as in came second out of several hundred applicants). Still a bit gutted because we all know that second place equals first loser! Arse!

I've had some Marshall heads in the past, but all I currently have is a JMP-1 preamp, which I ususally run through a ValveState Pro 120/120 power amp.
