Are they made by EBMM? DiMarzio? CTS? I wonder if it's an EBMM proprietry audio taper?

I ask because I just realised that the only guitar with stock pots I own is my JP6. I've tried adding treble bleeds with disastrous effects, and the stock pots are just fine. My Silo Specs had to be replaced because they were 250k stock, and I went up to 500k for humbuckers.

Anyone have any clue?

Pretty sure they're CTS (many rebranded pots are also CTS). But their tolerances are very good, so they're very close to the spec'd resistances.

Funny how folks differ. I love Silo Specs stock. I wouldn't want the singe coils any brighter.

Ah... My silo spec is now actually a HHH config with the protrack, cruiser and mojoe. Hence the 500k pots.

Ah? They're CTS? Cool! I did replace my Silo Spec pots with those from RS Guitarworks, and it was more for their unique audiotaper rather than anything else, and I had to change them to 500k anyway so it was a good change to the RS kits. Those on my JP6 are fine, so no need to change, because those have an audio taper that I find usable. If my Silo Spec came with 500k pots instead, I probably would have left them alone.

I bought 500K pots for my Silo Special directly from EB a little while back, and I asked the CS guy what they used (forgot his name)...he told me that it varies and they could be CTS or Alpha. I think I got the Alpha ones, and they are half the size of the regular pots. I like them a lot on my Silo Special. Plus they are easier to work with in a cramped compartment.
