Who played bass on this track?

I heard the dirty dancing theme tune on the radio yesterday, you know "Ive had the time of my life", and couldnt help but think what a great bass line.

Searched the net but couldnt find anything on who played bass on the track.

Anyone any ideas?

I don't know who the bass player was, but my last band (corporate) did that one all the time...definitely one you've got to keep a tight groove on!
