I was gonna ask the same about the Albert Lee.

I think Beej already did it in another thread. Expect the maple he did won't be offered.

Cool. I found it. I'm mostly a maple fan but I think the DD AL with the rosewood neck is gonna be quite a looker.
For once I'm glad it's not offered in maple. Now onto the decision of matching headstock or not.... :D

It's not clear what's going to happen- Poppa said no inlays on the maple necks. So that could mean no Dargie AL, or it could mean a Dargie AL with no inlays. But I doubt they'll offer a RW board on it.

(Then again, who knows. Oh wait, somebody knows. Just not me.)

Poppa said that all Dargie Delight models will have rosewood boards because of the prohibitive cost of doing different colored inlays for maple and rosewood boards. Since the AL was not named as one of the guitars unavailable for this color scheme, it will likely be offered with a rosewood board.

Yeah ... he said "... it will only come in rosewood as the maple will not be visual enough and it is was to cost prohibitive to make different inlays.", but that could mean that the inlays only come on rosewood. I dunno. I'm just going on the fact that other than the LE, they don't like to do RW on the Albert's.

I'm sure they'll let us know when they're back in action.

oi you lot, no hijacking my thread!!! :D

hehe One more thing! I went to guitar center here in chicago to see how much I would have to put down to order the dargie in a AL version. I am still debating it I have a few weeks!

Wide'Iwas,

I would just call Pete. I wouldnt mess around with Guitar Center especially the ones in Burbank or Country Club Hills.

Just my two cents

Hahaha. Im an idiot tonight. In my defence it's nearing closer and closer to 4 AM over here, but I've posted this in the bass forum by accident, and then in another dargie delight thread over here, and completley missed this thread, so heres my attempt:

Hahaha yeah, all I could think of while I was adjusting the colours on that was the T2000. I can't remember whos Luke that was, but it was incredibly shiny to begin with before I got my hands on it in pshop. :D
