For the guitar side Derek was solicitating requests for the artists. No one did any thing like that here so I'm not bashful... I'm from Nashville.
BIG TIME!

I liked the Polar Bears (and the Bob Nyswonger Bears, the guy from Ohio you met at NAMM a few days back), but I really think that Jules put out two (maybe three) really fabulous and relatively unknown Great American albums, and Tony played on those records. You probably know this if you toss out "polar bears" but for those who don't, go now to your local music emporium and buy:

The Great Puzzle

and

Healing Bones

Both by Jules Shear, both feature Mr Levin on bass - and you will be surprised.

Wow. I have both of those and I had no idea that TL played bass on them. Guess I'll put them on when I go home tonight. They are good records though -- Jules is quite the songwriter.

I also think Elliot Easton played guitars on those records. Tony may not have played on "The Great Puzzle", now that I think about it, but he did play on:

Watchdog
The Eternal Return
Healing Bones
Horse of a Different Color

I know this because I checked his website!

I just looked at TL's credit list on the All Music Guide, all five pages of it, and there are quite a few CDs in my collection (other than the obvious ones) that he played on. He is on the Great Puzzle. Elliot Easton plays on Healing Bones.
