Last night my band (Spitfire) rehearsed a new version of a few AC/DC tracks. Everytime we play Highway to Hell, we get asked for more. So, we decided 'lets put a few togther in a medley!'.
So, now we have mixed Whole Lotta Rosie with Highway to Hell, and it sounds wicked!
Why this post?
The Ray H 3 EQ VS/Maple, with the treble rolled back from the centre, mids boosted a little and bass boosted a little, STRAIGHT into the PA, (as we rehearse in a tiny room) sounded massive. Especially when I hit the F...and this is just a 4 string bass. Very little treble click, more about lows and low mids, but with note defintion.
It was also excellent fun. I don't listen to AC/DC much, but I realise how great they are.
Whole Lotta Stingray indeed!
