Whoo Hoo! Bongos 'n Blues

I just got confirmation that my blues band, The Model Citizens, is playing a Blues Festival in June. The headliner is none other than living legend, Hubert Sumlin.

I'll be making the traditionalists nervous by playing my space aged Bongo contraptions.

It'll be at Darwin's in Marietta. 3-4 local acts and a couple of national acts closing it out. We go on first, but as we've only played one gig at Darwin's, I'm taking it as a good sign that she asked us to play.


The first attempt at Frankenbongo is dead in the water, but I have a couple more things up my sleeve.

That is cool. When in June? I'll be back in Atlanta the weekend of June 18-19, so if you guys are playing out that weekend, at Darwin's or elsewhere, I'll try to stop by.
