I just got off the phone with my music store. They said that EB just called and my Petrucci shipped out today. Should be in my hands middle of next week.

I'm getting the Pearl Redburst, just like a thousand others before me. I thought it would be neat to get the color that was only available on a Petrucci. I didn't realize that there would be so many others who thought the same thing. Oh well.

I ordered it with the piezo option. I didn't get the matching headstock, I've seen others that had really pretty figured headstocks and hoped I would get one as well, I hate to cover up nice wood.

I thought about posting pics, but there have been so many posted before and while I'm excited as hell, I think there may be some people who are less than enthusiastic about seeing more pics of yet another Pearl Redburst JPM on the forum.

Anyhow, I really can't wait... I ordered it October 20th, so it's been a little more than 3 months getting here.

Yeah, the pearl redburst is cool.

I ordered my AL with a matching headstock, and sort of wish I hadn't. It looks nice, but it's almost too pretty to play. It makes me nervous.

Guess I'll have to order another....
