Re: the title of this thread... <raises hand>

I am gassin' for an AL. It is currently in line immediately behind a prospective maple-top Petrucci, but the way these folks in SLO are tempting us with new goodies, I fear I may never get to it!

Fortunately, I've got two MMs here and one on order, so the G.A.S. isn't too painful. ;)

I know what you mean. I'm in pretty much the same place you are. JP with maple cap/super-double-ultra-mega-secret, mahogany tone block then...everything else! :D

It doesn't help that I went and tried all the EBMM basses at the GC Labor Day sale. Now, I want all of those too!

Wish I could...:(

BP, do you mean ALs in general are feather light, or do you recognize that particular guitar?

Good times buddy! Hopefully we'll do it again soon.

Yeah, LOVE the AL. Y'all need to check one out when you get the chance.

I have been trying to avoid looking at that auction since it came up. The Albert Lee is one of the two EBMM six-stringers that keeps this bass jockey up at night. The other is the JP6. Well, and the Silhouette. I sure do miss that Axis Sport MM90 I sold to Beej, too.

Arrgh! These things are worse than crack!
